About Us

myVP has been serving clients since 2009, helping them improve their business operations. Owner Terri Harmon spent her career in operational management positions in a variety of different business – both for-profit and not-for-profit. Whether it was a $45 million per year retail store or a start-up not-for-profit, she saw common issues facing these businesses that needed creative and customized solutions.

With an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for helping business owners and managers become more successful, Terri now leverages her 25+ years of operational problem solving to help myVP clients succeed. Examples include:

Challenge - I need a piece of software to help me run my business better.

Approach – Research available solutions and identified a need in the industry. Helped client research market feasibility of filling that market need with a new SaaS solution. Researched and identified a development partner, managed product development from initial database design to market release. Provided product development and technical support to end-users including full training curriculum and an integrated online help manual.

Challenge - I  need to update my website but don’t have a huge budget.

Approach – Identified technical skills available in-house, facilitated redesign of website to highlight brand and trained staff how to update content and manage e-commerce functionality.

Challenge - None of my systems work together and my staff spends all their time updating data in multiple places.

Approach – Outlined necessary business functions, identified integration points for existing systems and recommended new website platform capable of managing multiple operational functions and improving communication with clients.

Challenge – We need to launch a program that communicates with a large number of external stakeholders but is easy for our small staff to manage and track.

Approach – Worked with staff to understand current operational and technical capabilities, created an online data collection form, internal tracking mechanisms and marketing plan to launch the program.
